Remote working returns to Moscow

On October 1 the Mayor of Moscow ordered employers to return at least 30% of their workers to remote working. The rule takes effect on October 5 and will last until October 28 at least. There were 24 000 new coronavirus cases on October 1. People over 65 and those at high risk must work from home even if they are not sent home by their bosses. No enforcement mechanisms such as fines have been announced. There are exemptions from the 30% rule for healthcare staff, Rosatom, Roscosmos and the military. Mayor Sobyanin advised these measures a week ago. But the advice has now become a law. He wants to reduce transport usage.These measures do not apply to the rest of Russia.
