Russia issues arrest warrant for Estonian Prime Minister

On February 13 this unprecedented move was made against Kaja Kallas. Kallas advocated for the removal of a Soviet monument in Estonia. Estonia is a former Soviet republic and has a significant Russian minority. It is an EU and NATO member and has been vociferous in support of Ukraine. The arrest warrant does not say what crime Kallas is suspected of. Putin's spokesman suggested it was for unfriendly acts against Russian history. Russia's main Foreign Ministry spokeswoman suggested that many more arrest warrants would be issued. The Russian Investigative Committee has issued warrants for many foreign Leanders for taking down Soviet era monuments. So far it has not issued them against a prime minister.
