Russia says Ukraine has hit a Crimean Bridge

On June 23 Russia said Ukraine said British-supplied missiles. The parallel bridges were both damaged. Russia claimed that the United Kingdom ordered the attack. Russia posted footage of a hole in the bridge. The Russian-appointed Governor of Kherson said the bridge would be repaired soon. Chongar Bridge is a vital link from Crimea to the Kherson Region. Russian Forces in the Kherson Region can be supplied from Russian positions to the east in Zaporizhzhia Region. It is speculated that Ukraine might try to cut this land bridge. Ukraine says it aims to disrupt Russian supplies but did not comment on the bridge attack. Ukraine's counter-offensive has taken 8 villages so far. On June 22 Russia fired missiles at Ukrainian cities. This did not have a major impact. On June 22 Zelensky said that Russia is preparing a terrorist attack on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Region Plant. The United Nations stated it is very worried about the safety of the plant.
