Russian Anti Monopoly Service warns Yandex

On 24 February it was reported in RBK that the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) has Yandex in its crosshairs. The company has been ordered to prevent its search engine from discriminating against companies disfavored by Yandex. Yandex has a month to address the issue. It could challenge the FAS decision.Yandex said that it is doing nothing wrong. Favoring companies in one's own ecosystem is industry standard practice. Yandex's market share is about 50% Yandex claims its search wizard results are fair and based on popularity. Yandex competitors have been complaining about Yandex's conduct.
