On June 14 the missiles did little damage. US-supplied air defense systems fended off most Russian missiles. Russia fired Kalibr missiles from a warship. Ukraine claims to have shot them down. Ukraine says 3 people in Odesa were killed by the missile that got through. The United Nations noted that Odesa is a World Heritage Center and is in danger from bombardment. Some smaller cities were also hit by missiles, and there were 3 civilian deaths. On June 13 Zelensky's home own was hit by missiles, and 12 civilians were killed. Ukraine is making small gains in its counter-offensive in southern Ukraine. Western pundits say that Ukraine seems to have sent only small numbers of troops to attack. It seems that Ukraine is seeing where Russia's weak spots are before trying to break through.
