Russian peacekeepers to enforce ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan

At 01:00 local time on November 10 Azerbaijan and Armenia signed an immediate ceasefire brokered by Russia. The current frontline is the ceasefire line therefore Azerabaijan shall retain land gained since September 27.2000 Russian peacekeepers will go to Nagorno Karabakh and be deployed for 5 years minimum. This means that Azerbaijan will not dare attack again. Azerbaijan is gaining a corridor to connect the major portion of the country to the Nakhchivan exclave.This is patently an Armenian defeat. There are calls for Prime Minister Pashinyan to resign. Putin never liked him. Russia is an ally of Armenia but would not fight for Nagorno Karabakh.On November 9 Azerbaijan apologised for its army destroying a Russian Army helicopter in Armenia. Two Russian soldiers were killed. Armenia uses Russian made helicopters so the mistake is understandable. Thus far Russia is not responding to the incident too angrily.
