Senate President Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG) and the President of the Senate's Economic Affairs Committee (CAE), Vanderlan Cardoso (PSD-GO), are expected to meet today to discuss the date for Gabriel Galípolo's confirmation hearing, who has been appointed by President Lula to the presidency of the Central Bank. The expectation is that the hearing will take place on September 10. According to Minister Alexandre Padilha (Institutional Relations), Minister Simone Tebet (Planning) will present the 2025 Budget proposal to Senate President Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG). The meeting is expected to take place at 3:30 PM and the minister intends to clarify any doubts the legislators might have. House President Arthur Lira (PP-AL) continues his efforts to announce the candidate he will support in the Lower House succession. The favorite remains Deputy Elmar Nascimento (União-BA).
