Yesterday, November 20, Senator Alessandro Vieira (MDB-SE) submitted his report to the Economic Affairs Committee (CAE) on the bill that deals with the taxation of exclusive and offshore funds. He did not propose any changes to the merits of the text that was approved in the House. Also today, the Senate plenary will conclude discussions on the Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC) that restricts monocratic decisions made by justices of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) and judges. The text has significant support in the Senate. Deputy Danilo Forte (União Brasil-CE), rapporteur of the Budget Guidelines Law (LDO), is expected to submit his final report to the Joint Budget Committee (CMO) today. The CMO vote is scheduled for tomorrow.
