Senator Jaques Wagner may present a new draft of the bill that deals with the reduction of payroll tax exemptions. The government's goal is to try to vote on the bill this week. A meeting is scheduled today between the President of the STF, Luís Roberto Barroso, and the Presidents of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), and the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), along with other STF justices, to discuss parliamentary fund transfers. It is also worth noting that the National Collective of Electricians (CNE) is holding a public demonstration in front of the AGU’s Office in Brasília to protest the privatization of Eletrobras. The motivators for this demonstration are layoffs and salary adjustments.
