In this econ-only Tracker, we provide a quick rundown of the past week’s data releases and developments.

Growth indicators softened somewhat in April, while both March final and April preliminary trade data pointed to a visible deterioration in the core trade balance. As an aside, Turkey halted all trade with Israel, while exports to Russia have been declining since earlier this year, the combined effect of which is not that trivial.
