Following a number of unimaginable errors and blunders, which eroded a relevant part of his popularity, President Bolsonaro has emitted some positive signs in the past few days. The future of the economy and the government itself depends on the establishing of a less erratic presidency. The economy continues showing signs of very slow growth, with stubbornly high unemployment and low investment. The uncertainty provoked by the administration’s disappointing political performance has negatively affected the prices of Brazilian assets, triggering volatility in the exchange rate and stock markets.
