The anti-Supreme Federal Court agenda has made progress in the Lower House. The Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) approved the admissibility of Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC) 28/24, which allows Congress to suspend decisions made by the Supreme Federal Court (STF). In other news, according to a report from Folha yesterday, the Ministry of Finance is considering creating a minimum tax for individuals earning up to R$1 million annually. This would be a way to compensate for the increase in the income tax exemption threshold (IRPF) to R$5,000. This morning, there will be a press conference on the economic and competitive regulation of digital platforms in Brazil.
