Today, the Central Bank will announce its decision on the basic interest rate (Selic), which is currently at 11.75% per year. The rate is expected to be reduced to 11.25%. Tomorrow, February 1, President Lula will inaugurate Ricardo Lewandowski at the Ministry of Justice and Public Security. Lewandowski will replace Flávio Dino. Also today, the Parliamentary Front for Entrepreneurship (FPE), the Parliamentary Front for Commerce and Services (FCS), and representatives from the productive sector meet with the Minister of Labor, Luiz Marinho, to talk about changes to the rules for working on Sundays and holidays.
