Today, March 8, the chair and vice-chair candidates appointed by the leaders of the party blocs to the standing committees of the Senate will be elected. In the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL) also had the party leaders submit the list of candidates to chair the standing committees. Today, the Tax Reform Working Group of the House will hear economist Bernard Appy, Extraordinary Secretary on Tax Reform at the Ministry of Finance. On Tax Reform, a study we conducted in the House with 103 deputies, between 02/27 and 03/03, which showed that 67.96% of deputies believe a broad tax reform will be approved by Congress later this year.
