The Confaz meets today to decide on whether to extend the ICMS tax freeze for another 60 days. In a statement, 21 governors asked that, within this period, structural solutions to stabilize the prices of fuel be established, considering the terms of Bill No. 1472 from 2021. The Banco Modal poll was the first to show more of a balance between Lula and Bolsonaro – Lula remains in the lead with 36.9% of voting intentions, while Bolsonaro is in second place with 31.4%. The Superior Electoral Court set the time allotments for free party advertising on radio and television for the first half of this year. This advertising time tends to affect the polls. The parties that will be entitled to 20 minutes and 40 insertions are: the DEM, MDB, PDT, PL, PP, PSB, PSD, PSDB, PSL, PT and Republicanos. From this group, Simone Tebet, Ciro Gomes, Rodrigo Pacheco, João Doria and Lula will benefit.
