Yesterday, the Executive Office withdrew the constitutional urgent status of three bills sent to the National Congress: Bill 3.335/24, concerning gas subsidies; Bill 3.337/24, regarding the transfer of local surpluses for the ongoing exploration and production of oil and natural gas; and Bill 3.394/24, which increases the CSLL (Social Contribution on Net Profit) tax rate. Today, Senator Eduardo Braga (MDB-AM) was scheduled to present the work timeline for the bill regulating the Tax Reform (PLP 68/24). However, due to health reasons, the presentation has been postponed to next week, on October 23. Yesterday, Minister of Planning Simone Tebet made significant remarks regarding fiscal matters. She stated that the current focus is on discussing structural spending reforms that are "politically feasible," even if they are not ideal or in line with the preferences of the economic team.
