Minister Vital do Rego has already stated that he will request a 60-day review for the case. Thus, the process will not be completed today. The government is hoping the review will take as little time as possible. Employees of the National Treasury will hold a new strike for a salary raise. On the other hand, Central Bank employees suspended their strike until May 2 and will submit a counter-proposal to the government’s 5% raise proposal. The Solidariedade party should formalize its alliance with the PT on May 3. The party has little political weight. It only has seven federal deputies and no senators. This is more a symbolic move.
