José Mauro Ferreira Coelho will be replaced by Caio Mário Paes de Andrade, assistant to Minister Paulo Guedes at the Ministry of Economy, where he held the position of Secretary of Debureaucratization. João Doria's withdrawal from the presidential race does not settle the issue in the third-way alliance. The conflicts will likely continue. At the Planalto Palace, some consider Doria's withdrawal to be good news. This is because they believe the attention on the pandemic may decrease during the presidential campaign. The urgent status for the bill in the House was approved last week. The president of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), will have a meeting at the official residence with the leaders of the opposition and allies to discuss the vote on the proposal.
