The government may announce measures to compensate for the payroll tax relief for companies and city halls. The rapporteur of the bill in the Federal Senate, Jaques Wagner (PT-BA), is waiting for the announcement of compensatory measures before he submits his report. The Senate may also vote on Bill No. 914/24, which establishes the Green Mobility and Innovation Program (Mover). The bill was approved in the House last week and provides financial incentives of R$ 19.3 billion over five years. The House Working Group (GT) on Tax Reform regulation of General Standards for the Tax on Goods and Services (IBS) and the Contribution on Goods and Services (CBS) will hold a series of public hearings. According to the announced work plan, the group will hold 17 public hearings in total.
