The government sent the Budget guidelines bill to the National Congress yesterday, which includes the parameters of the 2025 Federal Budget. The fiscal target for next year was reduced from 0.5% to 0% of GDP. Yesterday, the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, confirmed that the regulation of Tax Reform, which would have been sent to Congress yesterday, was postponed until April 22. He was optimistic about approval this year. Senate President Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG) stated yesterday that the complementary bill on state debt will be submitted this month.
