According to the government leader in Congress, Senator Randolfe Rodrigues (PT-AP), next week there will be a meeting between representatives of the three branches of government to address the issue of parliamentary fund transfers. The Minister of Institutional Relations, Alexandre Padilha, said yesterday that the government is expected to set up a working group on reducing credit costs next week. This discussion will take place within the Council for Sustainable Economic and Social Development. Two executive branch bills that change the rules for state-owned companies to exit traditional accounting and operate as independent institutions, even if they still rely on funds from the Ministry of Finance, have caused some market concerns.
