Yesterday, a meeting in Brasília finalized the agreement between the government, businesspeople, and workers regarding working rules for the retail sector on holidays. With the agreement, a new ordinance will be published, defining which commercial activities require and which do not require prior approval to authorize work on a holiday. Due to Congress's dissatisfaction with certain decisions made by the Executive Branch, the President of the House, Arthur Lira, scheduled a meeting with leaders for next Monday, January 29. At the center of the debate is Lula's veto of the budget approved by Congress for committee amendments. The Voa Brasil program, which should sell flight tickets at reduced prices for retirees and students, has a start date. It should be announced on February 5.
