The House approved the Auxílio Brasil payments of R$ 400. The rapporteur, João Roma, former Minister of Citizenship, accepted an edit to make this value permanent. Today, the National Congress will analyze presidential vetoes. To overturn a veto, an absolute majority of votes is required — at least 257 votes from deputies and 41 votes from senators. The United Nations Human Rights Committee concluded that Moro was biased in the trial of the cases against former President Lula in the context of Operation Car Wash and that Lula's political rights were violated in 2018, as he was prevented from participating in the presidential race that year.
