Yesterday, the House approved Bill 2308/23, which regulates the production of hydrogen that is considered low carbon (green hydrogen), instituting voluntary certification and federal tax incentives. The text now goes to the President to sanction. Regarding Tax Reform, the rapporteur in the Senate will be Senator Eduardo Braga. The text will be analyzed by the Constitution and Justice Committee. Next week, the Senate's attention is focused on payroll tax relief. According to the government's calculations, the measures proposed by the senators to compensate for the relief represent only R$ 18 billion. The cost of the relief is R$ 26 billion.
