The House approved the national nursing salary floor bill, the União Brasil officially left the third-way alliance, and the latest poll shows that Bolsonaro is catching up to Lula

The House and Senate approved bills that increase public spending. In the House, the bill on the national nursing salary floor was approved. In the Senate, a Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC) was approved that creates a salary floor for community health workers and for combating endemic diseases in the Unified Health System (SUS). The Senate also approved the provisional measure on Auxílio Brasil. As expected, the União Brasil announced its departure from the third-way alliance. This is yet another setback for the third way, which is now even more divided. According to the poll published yesterday by Paraná Pesquisas, the distance between former President Lula (PT) and President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in the first round is only 4.8%. Lula has 40% and Bolsonaro, 35.2%.
