The Lower House and the Senate will hold a week of concentrated legislative sessions. The House is attempting to vote on the second bill related to the regulation of the Tax Reform this week, which deals with the Management Committee (Complementary Bill No. 108/24). The Senate may vote on the bill that addresses the payroll tax exemption for companies and small municipalities (Bill No. 1,847/24). The estimated cost for this bill is R$26 billion. The Senate's Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) is analyzing Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC) No. 65, which grants financial and budgetary autonomy to the Central Bank.
