At noon, the leaders of the House will meet to decide on whether the vote on the fiscal framework will take place today or tomorrow. It will most likely be left for Wednesday, May 24. Also today, the Senate Economic Affairs Committee will hold a public hearing on the bill that deals with payroll tax exemption (PL nº 334/23). This bill extends the payroll tax exemption for 17 sectors of the economy until December 31, 2027. The Parliamentary Committees of Inquiry (CPIs) on Game Manipulation in Soccer Matches and the Landless Workers' Movement (MST) are scheduled to present their Work Plans today.
