The House will likely vote on Deputy Claudio Cajado's (PP-BA) report on Tuesday, May 23, or Wednesday, May 24. To be approved, the text needs the support of at least 257 deputies. Last week, the urgent status of the bill was approved by 367 votes in favor and 102 against. The Senate will vote on Provisional Measure (MP) nº 1.147/22, which resets the PIS and Cofins rates on revenue obtained by regular passenger air transport companies from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2026. The CPIs on the Americanas stores, the Landless Workers' Movement (MST), and online sports betting should determine their respective work schedules.
