The House should vote on the CARF bill, if the Tax Reform proposal is not voted on this week it should be put to a vote in August, and the Senate is expected to vote on the legal framework for sanitation today

The House postponed the vote on the economic agenda, the bill that deals with the tie-breaking vote of the Administrative Council of Tax Appeals (CARF), and the new fiscal framework to today. Regarding the CARF, the tie-breaking vote issue remains unresolved. Since the CARF bill has a constitutional urgent status and is blocking the voting agenda, the vote on the new fiscal framework was also left for today. Concerning Tax Reform, the president of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), and the rapporteur, Aguinaldo Ribeiro (PP-PB), are still optimistic and believe that the vote could take place this week. If not, it will only be put to a vote in August. For today, the Senate scheduled the vote on PDL 98/2023, which suspends President Lula's decrees on the legal framework for sanitation.
