Due to the lack of a decision in the House regarding the vote on the new fiscal framework, the federal government authorized the early inclusion of conditional expenses in the 2024 Budget in the Budgetary Guidelines Bill (PLDO). The LDO has not yet been put to a vote in Congress and is being discussed by the Joint Budget Committee. The fiscal framework does not have a voting date, but it could take place this week or the next. The House is waiting for changes in the ministerial team to unblock the agenda. Also today, Bolsonaro's former Minister of Justice and former Secretary of Public Security of the Federal District Anderson Torres testifies at the Joint Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (CPMI) on the January 8 attacks.
