Today, provisional measures were published in the Federal Official Gazette reducing the income tax rates to zero for those residing or domiciled abroad that have income from investments in Brazil. The goal is to equalize the tax rates in order to expand the access of Brazilian companies to foreign capital. We are days away from the election, and the campaigns will intensify. President Jair Bolsonaro called on his supporters to organize motorcycle parades across the country on October 1, the eve of the first round of the elections. Lula signaled that he should attend Saturday's debate held by CNN, Veja, SBT, O Estado de S. Paulo and other media outlets.
