Yesterday, the National Congress approved the Budget Guidelines Law (LDO). The text now goes for presidential sanction. Also today, the Senate should vote on Provisional Measure Nº 1,185, which deals with the ICMS subsidy and Interest on Own Capital (JCP). The text was approved last week and is part of the bills promoted by the Minister of Finance to increase revenue. The House also wants to vote on a bill that regulates the taxation of sports betting. The deputies approved the proposal, but the senators withdrew the inclusion of casinos due to resistance from the evangelical and Catholic caucuses. Deputies want to include this point again in the text.
