Due to the pressure for measures to combat crime, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security launched on Monday, October 2, a plan to combat criminal organizations, called the National Program to Combat Criminal Organizations (ENFOC). In other news, today is the deadline for changes to electoral rules ahead of the 2024 municipal elections. According to the Constitution, the rules can be changed up to one year before the election. Next week will be a slow week in Brasília due to the federal holiday on Wednesday, October 11, and there will be no trials in the physical plenary of the Supreme Federal Court (STF).
