The data from the Expense and Income Evaluation Report will be discussed on Monday morning, July 25. Based on the published figures, the government is expected to announce a budget cut that could reach R$ 5 billion. As it is an election year, the decision is complex and may cause reactions from allies. Today, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), pre-candidate for vice president on Lula's ticket, has a meeting with Federal Deputy Neri Geller (PP) and Senator Carlos Fávaro (PSD), rural leaders from Mato Grosso. The idea is to try to gain support from agribusiness, which mostly supports President Jair Bolsonaro.
