The new fiscal framework is expected to be submitted to the National Congress today or tomorrow. It is important to note that the new framework will be submitted as a supplementary bill. To be approved, it needs the support of an absolute majority in both houses of Congress. Today, a session of the National Congress is also scheduled to analyze presidential vetoes. There are 29 vetoes pending analysis. Also today, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) began judging the criminal accusations against 100 people who were arrested for the January 8 attacks in Brasilia. The trial will be held virtually.
