The vote on the fiscal framework in the House has been scheduled for next week. The president of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), confirmed that it will be put to a vote on Tuesday, August 22. Yesterday, Arthur Lira said that he does not plan on meeting with President Lula this week to discuss ministerial reform. Although the Planalto Palace has already confirmed that Deputies André Fufuca (PP-MA) and Silvio Costa Filho (Republicanos-PE) will join the ministerial team, Lula has not yet decided which ministries they will be given. A power blackout affected several states yesterday. Alexandre Silveira said that the National Electric System Operator (ONS) should present a report within 48 hours with a diagnosis of the causes of the outage that hit 25 states in the country and the Federal District.
