As expected, the fiscal framework will not be put to a vote this week. But it should be scheduled for next week. The rapporteur, Cláudio Cajado (PP-BA), said there will be a meeting with government technicians to discuss the text on Monday, August 14. Haddad will also have a meeting at 5 pm with members of the Economic Development Committee of the House. The Committee is analyzing a bill that extends payroll tax exemptions for 17 sectors until 2027. Yesterday, the Joint Committee on the minimum wage provisional measure (MP) approved the report that includes a series of measures from other government proposals. The MP raises the minimum wage to R$ 1,320.
