The President of the House, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), will meet with party leaders to discuss the Amnesty Bill. Last week, the opposition secured the support of 264 votes for the urgent status request to be brought to the floor. Federal Deputy and União Brasil leader in the House, Pedro Lucas (MA), will meet with his party’s caucus to discuss his appointment to the Ministry of Communications to replace Juscelino Filho, who left the position after the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGR) filed charges regarding irregularities in his use of parliamentary funds. The First Panel of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) will decide today and tomorrow whether to accept charges filed by the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGR) against “Nucleus 2” (which, according to the PGR, is responsible for organizing plans to illegitimately keep former president Jair Bolsonaro in power) for an attempted coup. The likelihood is for the charges to be accepted.
