The PP and Republicanos are pressing for space on the ministerial team. Even though the government does not want to give up the Ministry of Social Development, which is responsible for the Bolsa Família program, the PP is insisting on it. In any event, the PT will likely lose space on the ministerial team. Yesterday, the Central Bank (BC) reduced the basic interest rate (Selic) from 13.75% to 13.25%. Most of the market was expecting a 0.25 cut. Fernando Haddad praised the decision and said that Roberto Campos Neto's vote played an important and technical role. The Federal Police arrested hacker Delgatti Netto after he admitted to hacking the National Justice Council (CNJ) system. Delgatti said that he met with Bolsonaro at the Alvorada Palace and that Bolsonaro asked him if he would be able to hack electronic ballot boxes if he was provided with the source code.
