This afternoon, the President of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Justice Luís Roberto Barroso, and Justice Flávio Dino will meet with the Presidents of the Lower House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), and the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), to discuss the bill that sets new rules for parliamentary fund transfers. Senator Ângelo Coronel is expected to file the bill by next Monday, October 28. Yesterday, he revealed that the new rules would likely prohibit Congress members from directing funds to regions outside their electoral base. Senator Eduardo Braga (MDB-AM), rapporteur for the bill regulating tax reform (PLP 68/2024), will detail the voting schedule for the proposal today in the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ).
