Senator Tasso Jereissati is the favorite to run as vice president on the Senator Tebet’s ticket. Achieving unity in the bloc will be difficult, and the confirmation of the ticket during the convention period will be another battle, especially if Simone's intended votes remain low. In addition to PLP 18, the Senate may vote on two other Constitutional Amendment Proposals (PECs) on the ICMS issue. The rapporteur, Senator Fernando Bezerra, stated that the vote will take place on Monday. Once the preliminary report on the LDO is approved, the presentation phase begins for amendments to the final report, which runs from June 15-23. To enter a formal recess on July 18, Congress must vote on the LDO.
