The complementary bill that deals with the fiscal framework (PLP nº 93/23) was submitted to the House last week. The rapporteur, Deputy Cláudio Cajado (PP-BA), is expected to announce a work schedule. On Wednesday, April 26, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) will resume its judgment on the increase of the Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS). The Solidariedade party filed a lawsuit with the STF asking for the monetary correction of FGTS accounts since 1990. Also on Wednesday, the First Section of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) will judge the case that analyzes the exclusion of tax benefits from the Tax on the Circulation of Goods and Services (ICMS) from the calculation of the Corporate Income Tax (IRPJ) and Social Contribution on Net Income (CSLL).
