The rapporteur of the provisional measure (MP) on the ICMS subsidy, Luiz Fernando Faria (PSD-MG), may submit his report this week. According to the schedule, the presentation to the Joint Committee is set for December 6, and the vote is scheduled for the following day. On Wednesday, December 6, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) will adjudicate the Direct Act of Unconstitutionality (ADI), filed by the Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB), against a rule of the State-Owned Companies Law. President Lula (PT) will participate in the 63rd Mercosur Summit on Thursday, December 7, in Rio de Janeiro. The trade agreement with the European Union is the main topic on the agenda.
