According to the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, the second bill on Tax Reform regulation, specifically on the Steering Committee that will discuss the federal distribution of revenue from the Tax on Goods and Services (IBS), will be sent to Congress next week, before the holiday on May 30. Yesterday, Arthur Lira (PP-AL) announced the creation of two working groups (GTs) that will debate the regulation of Tax Reform. According to him, each GT will have seven members and will have 60 days (July 20) to conclude their work. Fernando Haddad told the press that the taxation of international purchases is not being considered as a compensatory source for the payroll tax relief bill, but that other compensatory measures are being looked at.
