Yesterday, the Senate approved a bill that guarantees tax incentives for the green hydrogen sector. The proposal includes sections vetoed by President Lula in the sanctioning of the green hydrogen bill passed by Congress earlier this year. According to Senate President Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), Gabriel Galípolo’s appointment to the presidency of the Central Bank will be put to a vote in the plenary on October 8. Yesterday, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) formed a majority to uphold regulations requiring energy distributors to return to their consumers the amounts of taxes improperly collected through tariff discounts. After the majority was reached, the debate was suspended due to a request for a review by Justice Dias Toffoli.
