The Senate voted on the bill that regulates Tax Reform. Since changes were made, the text must return to the Lower House for further review. The bill's rapporteur, Senator Eduardo Braga (MDB-AM), expanded benefits for companies located in the Manaus Free Trade Zone and introduced objective criteria for taxing individuals who earn income from the purchase, sale, transfer, and leasing of real estate. Next week will be busy in Brasília. It will be the last week before the recess, and the agenda is packed. Next week, President Lula is expected to return to Brasília after undergoing two surgical procedures in São Paulo. According to his doctors, this should occur between Monday and Tuesday.
