Today, the Estadão published an article about the government's efforts to advance the appointment of the future Central Bank president to replace Roberto Campos Neto, whose term ends on December 31. According to the article, this appointment could take place before the municipal elections. Also today, employees of the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU) and the National Treasury Secretariat (STN) go on strike due to the lack of progress in negotiations with the Ministry of Management for career restructuring and salary adjustments.
