Today, the Senate may vote on the urgent status request for the bill (PL 1,847/2024) that implements the agreement between Congress and the Executive Office on payroll relief, both for companies and municipalities. The President of the Federal Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), said yesterday that the Five Year Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC) will undergo a new financial impact assessment before going to a plenary vote. The vote on the proposal has not yet been scheduled. The House may vote on a bill that deals with the Green Mobility and Innovation (Mover) program and the taxation of international purchases of up to US$50. There is still no agreement on the US$50 issue and, therefore, this part may be removed from the text.
