Yesterday, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) decided that the Guarantee Fund for Length of Service (FGTS) balances must be adjusted according to the consumer price index (IPCA). The decision will only take effect after the publication of the court's decision. Finance Minister Fernando Haddad is experiencing his worst moment in the government. Within the PT, some party members believe he has an excessively fiscal approach. In other news, the Federal Police concluded that the Minister of Communications, Juscelino Filho (União Brasil-MA), is part of a criminal organization and committed the crime of passive corruption related to the diversion of funds from paving works financed with public money from the federal state-owned company Codevasf.
