The STF decision has a direct impact on the vote on the Transition Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC), which is scheduled for today, December 20. The terms of the PEC are still being negotiated. Even with the decision of Minister Gilmar Mendes to remove the Bolsa Família payment from the spending ceiling for the 2023 financial year, the PT prefers to include it in the PEC. Today, Fernando Haddad is expected to announce the names for the command of the National Treasury and the Economic Policy Secretariat (SPE) of the ministry.
